INLINE DART VALVE

Inline Dart Valve

In some cases, a slurry control valve is needed in a pipeline. While a pinch valve is an option, the superior control and rangeability of a dart valve make it a better choice. The yDart, along with its variations, features the same polyurethane plug and seat as our standard i-, tri-, single-, and dual-Dart configurations, ensuring a high level of slurry flow control.

yDart

The yDart features a shaft, plug, seat, bonnet, and actuator inclined at a 45° angle to the longitudinal axis of the pipeline, allowing for a compact plug-and-seat arrangement within the body. This design minimizes the face-to-face distance. Additionally, the yDart is rubber-lined for enhanced abrasion resistance.

Poly-yDart

The poly-yDart is designed for severe applications where a polyurethane-lined body is preferred over rubber lining. For sizes up to 200 mm, the guide bars are integral to the body, while larger sizes utilize a removable seat cage assembly. This configuration can be offered in very small sizes starting at 25 mm, which has been successfully used in pilot plants.

Flash Dart

As the name suggests, this yDart variation is specifically designed for the aggressive conditions of the flash float market. The bonnet is tilted at a 15° angle from the pipeline's longitudinal axis, and the inlet features a fish-jaw design to promote optimal flow patterns, as predicted by CFD analysis. This geometry incorporates a secondary port that facilitates the unrestricted passage of heavy and large particles under the seat, minimizing the risk of choking.
